The female accomplice involved in the January 31 shooting at an apartment complex on Brentridge Circle that seriously injured a 23-year-old woman is jailed in lieu of $81,000 bond as the result of her arrest Thursday night.
Alexus McCord, 22, was found to have driven the shooter, Yanathan Furline, 21, who was arrested on February 5, to the complex to purchase marijuana from the 23-year-old victim when she was shot in the thigh. The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she was treated and released.
During the course of the investigation, it became apparent that McCord played a vital role in the accomplishment of these crimes.
McCord, who was taken into custody by TITANS Unit detectives at her home, was charged with the facilitation of attempted homicide, especially aggravated robbery, felony weapon possession, reckless endangerment and marijuana possession.
