Gregory Q. Wilson, 31, surrendered himself Friday night on an outstanding criminal homicide warrant for the December 26 fatal shooting of Julius Sanford, 28, on County Hospital Road.
The investigation, led by Homicide Unit Detective Phil Klarer, showed that Sanford was shot in the chest after an altercation. Sanford was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
Wilson is now being held in lieu of $500,000 bond.
