Detectives assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit this morning charged convicted felon Jason Dewayne Wyatt, 42, with sexual exploitation of a minor for possessing more than 100 images of child pornography.
Based on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, detectives interviewed Wyatt at his Gallatin Pike home earlier this month and seized an electronic tablet. A subsequent forensic examination of the tablet revealed the images of child porn. Wyatt is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Wyatt was convicted in 2012 on charges of aggravated sexual battery against a young girl and sexual exploitation of a minor as the result of an investigation by the ICAC Unit. He received concurrent 8-year sentences.
