TITANS Unit detectives arrested a 20-year-old man on Thursday after he was found with more than two pounds of marijuana in his vehicle and had seven outstanding warrants from a December 2024 incident. Chris Winters Jr. was seen conducting alleged drug deals in North Nashville on Thursday prior to detectives taking him into custody when he parked at a residence on Avondale Circle.
Winters had 2.42 pounds of marijuana in six bags inside the Hyundai Tucson he was seen driving as well as a digital scale.
Winters was stopped last December 3 on Green Street and fled from officers after they questioned him if marijuana was inside his gray Infiniti. The Infiniti was later recovered on Lewis Street unlocked and running. Officers located 5.2 grams of marijuana and burglary tools inside.
Winters was booked last night on his seven outstanding warrants related to the December incident as well as felony drug possession and drug paraphernalia from his arrest. He remains jailed today on $36,000 bond.
