Specialized Investigations Division detectives this afternoon arrested Jason Keith Woods, 49, on a 2nd-degree murder indictment in connection with the March drug overdose death of Blake Allen Fisher, 28, inside Fisher's Academy Place apartment.
The Medical Examiner ruled that Fisher's death was related to fentanyl toxicity. Investigation by the Neighborhood Safety Overdose Unit led to evidence implicating Woods as the person who supplied drugs to Fisher the night before he was found dead. Woods is also charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance. A Criminal Court judge set bond for Woods at $150,000.
