Homicide Unit detectives are charging William Montez Hall, 38, with criminal homicide for the February 2 fatal shooting of Ivorie Lee, 35, in the parking lot of the Z-Mart convenience store at 803 Dickerson Pike.
The investigation shows that Lee and Hall met at the market over money Hall owed Lee. They were talking outside of the building when Lee punched Hall in the face. Hall then pulled a gun, shot Lee, and fled. Lee was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died shortly after arrival.
Hall is also charged with unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon.
