The man fatally shot while sitting inside a vehicle Wednesday night in the parking lot of his residence at the Point Breeze Apartments, 488 Lemont Drive, is identified as Eric Bell Jr., 31.
Two suspects, described only as black men, fired shots at 11:40 p.m., striking Bell. Bell, who was known to sit in the vehicle and listen to music, died at the scene.
The motive remains under investigation.
