Specialized Investigations detectives are working to identify three suspects involved in Monday’s midnight shooting at a motel on Dickerson Pike that left a man in critical condition. The three suspects (seen in attached surveillance photos) arrived at the Days Inn and were gathered outside when the 58-year-old victim, an employee of the motel, got into an altercation with the group where he discharged a Pepper gun in their direction.
The shooter, a black male with long dreads and a white shirt, fired a 45-caliber pistol at the victim and struck him once in the chest. All three suspects fled in a blue four-door Hyundai southbound on Dickerson Pike.
The victim was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.
