Officers across Nashville are searching for escapee Quandre Beasley, 16, who Monday night was transported from the Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital after complaining of seizures. When the Fire Department ambulance arrived at Vanderbilt at approximately 9:15 p.m., a black male, described as small/petite wearing a black ski mask, exited a black Chevrolet Avalanche pickup truck. This individual gave the Juvenile Court social worker, who had accompanied Beasley, the impression that he was armed. Beasley got into the pickup and the driver sped off.
The Avalanche was located at 10:10 p.m., burning, on Villa Place in the Edgehill area. It had been reported stolen. Soon after the discovery of the pickup truck, a possibly related carjacking of a gold Malibu was reported at the Preakness apartment complex, 630 Bell Road. The Malibu was later located, unoccupied, crashed in the 1200 block of Rural Hill Road.
At the time of his escape, Beasley was wearing a neck brace. He was injured late Saturday night after he jumped out of a moving, stolen 2019 Ford Raptor pickup truck on Dickerson Pike at Ben Allen Road. He was also handcuffed in the front. Beasley is 5’10” tall. He was wearing dark blue pants, and a light blue shirt.

TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings), Violent Crimes Division, and Youth Services detectives are also involved in the search for Beasley and his accomplices.
