Second Murder Victim from Monday Identified

The second murder victim found Monday in the woods between Lincoya Bay Apartments and Percy Priest Lake has now been identified as Jaime Valdez-Garcia, 18, of Alabaster, Alabama, south of Birmingham. Valdez-Garcia is believed to have traveled to Nashville Sunday with his friend, Amir Landon Wilkerson, 19, who was also found murdered. Both had been shot. Homicide Unit detectives are pursuing active leads. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered.
