The continuing investigation into the April 2025 murders of two men in the woods between Lincoya Bay Apartments and Percy Priest Lake has Homicide Unit detectives seeking a second suspect.
Jose Miguel Guardado-Aguilar, 23, is named in arrest warrants charging him with two counts of criminal homicide for the shooting deaths of Amir Landan Wilkerson, 19, and Jaime Valdez-Garcia, 18, both of Alabaster, Alabama. Guardado-Aguilar has known ties to several cities besides Nashville, including Fort Smith, Arkansas, and the Alabama cities of Birmingham, Hoover, and Alabaster. He is considered to be armed and dangerous and is suspected of being part of the MS-13 gang. Anyone seeing Guardado-Aguilar or knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463 or their local law enforcement agency.
The first suspect in this double murder case, Josue Daniel Hernandez-Moxje, 24, was returned to Nashville last June to face two homicide charges following his arrest in Kenner, Louisiana. He remains in the Metro Jail.
