Homicide Unit detectives this evening charged Erion Nesbitt, 17, with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and unlawful gun possession for the July 4 murder of Christopher L. Harris, 27, at Overlook Ridge Apartments, 2400 Buena Vista Pike. Nesbitt is the second of seven shooters to be arrested in this case. Jaden Wright, 16, was arrested and charged with criminal homicide on July 6.
Surveillance footage from the scene and information from the community helped lead to the identification of Nesbitt, who was taken into custody by Specialized Investigations Division detectives.
The investigation in the relation to the other five shooters is continuing.
