A second teenager has been charged with criminal homicide in connection with the June 30th fatal shooting of Janiyah Batey, 19, at Buffalo Trail Apartments at 3711 Dickerson Pike. Adarian Graham, 16, has been booked into juvenile detention and is being held pending a hearing.
A co-defendant of Graham’s, Martavious Luster, 16, was arrested on June 30 and is charged with criminal homicide.
The investigation shows that Graham, Luster, Demario Anderson, 16, and a fourth teen attempted to rob Batey. Shots were exchanged and both Batey and Anderson were fatally hit. Work is continuing to bring the third and last suspect into custody.
