A hooded suspect robbed a Walgreens on 3500 Gallatin Pike just before 9 p.m. Tuesday night. The man, wearing an orange sweatshirt, black and white striped track pants and a black beanie hat (seen in attached photos), walked into the store and asked for cigarettes. The suspect demanded the cashier open the register and motioned to his waistband implying that he was armed.
He is believed to have left the store on foot with the cash. At this time it is unclear if this case is connected to Saturday afternoon’s robbery of a Walgreens on South Gallatin Pike.
