Sergeant Tim Miller Promoted to Lieutenant and Will Lead the North Precinct's Overnight Shift

Chief John Drake today announced the promotion of Sergeant Tim Miller to the rank of lieutenant, effective immediately.

Miller, one of the Nashville 6 heroes from the Christmas 2020 bombing and a 13-year MNPD veteran, is transitioning from the Central Precinct and will lead the North Precinct’s overnight shift. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Bethel University.
