A Nashville woman responsible for more than 23 thefts from area retail stores over the last 16 months is now in custody. Sagovia McKenzie, 35, a convicted thief, was located today by Organized Retail Crime detectives on South 6th Street, where she was found to be in possession of marijuana and a magnet tool used to remove security tags.
McKenzie was wanted on 31 outstanding warrants, 23 of them for theft cases at stores across Davidson County, including Lululemon, Burlington, Old Navy, Gap and Sephora dating back to January 2024.
She is now jailed on $135,500 bond.
