TITANS Unit detectives arrested shooting suspect Gerald Page, 34, Tuesday on University Court for outstanding warrants related to the May 23 gunfire that injured a man on Fain Street.
The 43-year-old victim said he was on his way to a barbeque when he heard multiple gunshots. He was struck in the leg and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation by Non-Lethal Shooting detectives revealed the shooting was likely retaliatory.
Page, a convicted drug felon, was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony and being a felon in possession of a weapon.
He is currently jailed on $150,000 bond.
