South Precinct detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Friday night’s now fatal shooting of Kevonta Williams, 19, between the J & K buildings of Horizon Park Apartments on Packard Drive. Williams died on Saturday.
Officers responding to a shots fired call at 11:10 p.m. Friday found Williams lying in the parking lot with a head wound. Residents in the area reported hearing gunfire and seeing a dark colored car leave the complex.
Leads have been developed and are being worked.
