Davis Owolo Jr., 24, is in custody and charged with the fatal shooting of his roommate, Johnia Ishan Wilson, 33, following an argument inside their home at 8:50 p.m. last night on Birchmill Point South.
Owolo was reportedly upset that Wilson may have attempted to enter his room when he wasn't home, which Wilson denied. Witnesses present attempted to deescalate the situation before shots were fired.
Wilson was located at the top of the staircase with fatal gunshot wounds.
Owolo fled the home last night with his girlfriend. He surrendered at the Criminal Warrants Division this morning.
He is charged with criminal homicide and is being held without bond.
