Specialized Investigations Division detectives this afternoon arrested Tavion Adams, 29, for July 6 gunfire in the parking lot of Knollcrest Apartments on Creekwood Drive that critically wounded two men.
The victims, ages 32 and 33, were reportedly shot during an argument. Investigation by Detective William Van Bergen led to the identification of Adams as the suspected shooter. This afternoon, Adams was seen driving a Ford Fusion on Dickerson Pike. The car tires were spiked. Adams drove to a residence on W. Hamilton Avenue where he got out and ran. He was apprehended a short time later. A pistol was recovered from his flight path.
Adams is charged with two counts of attempted criminal homicide, using a gun in the commission of a dangerous felony, and reckless endangerment. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $246,500.
