The third and final teenager has been charged with criminal homicide in connection with the June 30 fatal shooting of Janiyah Batey, 19, at Buffalo Trail Apartments, 3711 Dickerson Pike. Demondre Mayfield, 15, has been booked into juvenile detention.
Two co-defendants of Mayfield's, Adarian Graham, 16, and Martavious Luster, 16, were previously arrested and charged with criminal homicide.
The investigation shows that Graham, Luster, Mayfield, and Demario Anderson, 16, attempted to rob Batey. Shots were exchanged and both Batey and Anderson were fatally hit.
