Three teenagers, two 17-year-olds and one 15-year-old, are in juvenile detention following their arrests late Tuesday night for the armed robbery of a massage parlor on Donelson Pike.
Abdallah Sbeitani and Mohamed Gad, both 17, and Mohammed Sbeitani, 15, are accused of storming into the business, two of them armed with guns. Two women inside were pistol-whipped before the teens ran out with cash. They sped away on Donelson Pike in a Kia Soul. Robbery detectives, with the assistance of an MNPD helicopter, caught up with them at a convenience market/gas station on Bell Road. All three were removed from the Kia and arrested.
Recovered from the Kia were two pistols, one of which was reported stolen from a home on Chateau Valley Drive in April, ski masks and money.
All three teens are charged with two counts of especially aggravated robbery and Tuesday night's burglary of Jasmine Spa on Grandview Drive. They are also charged with unlawful gun possession. Abdallah Sbeitani is additionally charged with gun theft.
The three teens remain under investigation concerning other violent crimes in the Nashville area.
In a related case, officers this morning arrested Sabaif Ahmed, 15, for the December 1 armed robbery of a massage business on Harrison Street. He, too, remains under investigation in relation to other violent crimes in the city.
