Specialized Investigations Division TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) on Thursday apprehended Kenyal Pinkerton, 24, for shooting two men on January 29 outside 87 Fain Street. The 39-year-old victim was wounded in his legs; the 26-year-old victim was hit in the groin. Both are recovering.
The investigation indicates that Pinkerton was among four people (acquaintances) who had gotten into a fight on Fain Street, after which she retrieved a gun and fired shots. Pinkerton is charged with attempted criminal homicide, felony reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, and gun possession in the commission of a dangerous felony.
At the time of her arrest Thursday night, Pinkerton was also wanted on domestic assault charges stemming from an altercation with a former girlfriend on February 1. Her total bond has been set by a judicial commissioner at $283,500.
