An investigation led by the MNPD’s Major Case Task Force, with assistance from the TBI and DEA, led to Monday afternoon’s seizure of 5.5 pounds of cocaine, worth $100,000, and more than $150,000 in cash from a motel room on Wallace Road in South Nashville.
The cocaine originated in Mexico and represents at least 4,500 user “hits.”
Arrested with the cocaine and cash in the motel room were Javier Calderon-Garcia, 26, and Jorge Nieves-Sanchez, 53. Both are charged with possessing cocaine for resale and are being held in lieu of $100,000 bond each.
