Two men from out of state are already free on $11,000 bonds this morning after being arrested last night with 46 cans of nitrous oxide inside their vehicle. Raymond Edwards, 35, of Cincinnati, OH, and Ty’Juan Dugger, 28, of Tempe, AZ, responded to a flyer, found downtown by Entertainment District Unit officers this weekend, advertising delivery of online nitrous oxide orders.
In a coordinated effort between EDU officers and Violent Crimes Division detectives last night, Edwards and Dugger arrived downtown to conduct the deal made online with officers to purchase a set amount of nitrous oxide and were taken into custody.
More than 51,000 grams of nitrous oxide cans, cash and drug paraphernalia were located in the back seat of their vehicle. Three joints of marijuana were also recovered from Edwards during his arrest.
Both were charged with sale or delivery of inhaling fumes and drug paraphernalia. Edwards was additionally charged with drug possession.
