Specialized Investigations Division detectives Monday night arrested a convicted felon wanted on an outstanding warrant, who was found in the James Cayce neighborhood with cocaine and fentanyl on his person.
Brandon Gooch-Webster, 33, was seen entering an apartment with an AK-style rifle. Detectives approached him as he exited the apartment and Gooch-Webster ran.
He was taken into custody following a brief chase. Gooch-Webster was booked in on the outstanding felony probation violation warrant.
Additional drug and weapon possession charges were also filed.
A second suspect, Cameron Glenn, 31, was found inside the apartment Gooch-Webster entered when detectives executed a search warrant. He was wanted on seven outstanding charges, including a federal warrant.
Glenn was taken into custody for those charges, that include aggravated assault, domestic assault and child endangerment.
