UPDATE: Sadly, Roger Allen Jr. was found Saturday by Mt. Juliet Police, unresponsive in his vehicle suffering from an apparent medical issue. He was transported to Summit Medical Center where he died. Earlier efforts to notify his next of kin were unsuccessful.
Missing person detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 80-year-old Roger Allen Jr. who suffers from dementia.
Allen was last seen on Saturday after he visited relatives in Mt. Juliet. He left in his 2005 gray Mercury sedan bearing Tennessee tag 1L96E3. He told his relatives that he was driving back to his Briarwood Drive residence where he lives alone. Allen was reported missing this afternoon.
Allen is a white man who is 5’6” tall and weighs 170 pounds. He is balding with gray hair. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a blue/white button up shirt, and a ball cap with the letters “GH”.
