The third and final suspect in the February 2018 fatal shooting of Shamar Lewis, 34, behind an apartment building on Ben Allen Road is in custody.
Deputy U.S. Marshals today arrested Jyshon Forbes, 25, at his place of work in Knoxville. He will be returned to Nashville in the near future. Two other men, Jemario Askew, 31, and Richard Felder III, 33, are already charged with first-degree murder in the case.
The investigation, led by East Precinct Detective Jesse Holt, shows that Forbes, Felder, Askew and Lewis knew each other when they met at Cobblestone Corners Apartments on the night of February 20. The motive for the murder appears to have been robbery.
