UPDATE: Ervyon Moore today was located at a relative’s home in North Georgia near the Tennessee border. The remaining two escapees were captured in Pleasant View in Cheatham County. Bruce Johnson Jr. and Bryan Reid face serious charges in Pleasant View for their alleged involvement in at least one carjacking. They reportedly rammed a Pleasant View police vehicle in an attempt to evade arrest.
He was taken into custody without incident. Leads are being followed in locating the remaining two escapees.
Officers are working to locate three escapees from Youth Opportunity juvenile detention facility, 279 Stewart’s Ferry Pike. Just before 3 a.m. Sunday, a fourth escapee was located at a nearby convenience store and taken into custody.
Ervyon Moore, 16, of Chattanooga, Bruce Johnson Jr., 15, of Clarksville, and Bryan Reid, 17, of Johnson City escaped Saturday at 11:30 p.m. after reportedly overpowering a guard and escaping on foot. All three are wearing blue sweatpants and gray t-shirts provided by the facility.
