Violent Crimes Division Detectives arrested a man last night involved in several robberies at Walgreens stores and one Dollar General location dating back to last September. Joshua Robinson, 28, was identified through forensic evidence from robbery locations.
Employees at the various store locations reported that Robinson would then get behind the counter and steal cash from the drawer. Robinson would flee in a silver/grey Dodge Charger (shown in attached photos) from each of those scenes.
Robinson was arrested by detectives as he approached that same Charger last night. Detectives were able to retrieve a firearm and clothing believed to have been used in the robberies. He admitted to his involvement in numerous commercial robberies, including some stores that were victimized multiple times. The following Walgreens locations were involved:
At this time Robinson has been charged with eight counts of robbery and two counts of theft of property. He is being held on a $377,000 bond. His photo is being withheld pending additional lineups.
