Homicide Unit detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman suspected of being involved in today’s fatal shooting of Gary O. McClain, 60, who was found at 10 a.m. inside a room of the Savoy motel on Dickerson Pike.
Staff at the motel discovered McClain, of Nashville, deceased. He had been seen earlier arriving with the unidentified woman, who is also suspected of taking the car McClain was driving, a 2017 silver Hyundai Accent bearing Tennessee license number 3P5-2S1.
Anyone knowing the identity of the woman or seeing the car is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
