Daniel Fuentes
Recruitment OfficerI have been a member of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department since 2018. I was raised in an Army family that moved frequently, but we finally settled in Clinton, Mississippi. I joined the National Guard at the age of 17 and attended Infantry OSUT at Ft. Benning, GA. After graduating high school, I went on to attend the University of Mississippi where I obtained a degree in Criminal Justice as well as was commissioned as an officer into the ranks of the National Guard. I attended Initial Entry Rotary-Wing training at Ft. Rucker, AL where I was qualified to fly the UH60 Blackhawk. I returned to my hometown and was hired by the Clinton Police Department as patrol officer in 2014, attending the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy (MLEOTA) the same year. I deployed with the MS Army National Guard to Kosovo in the summer of 2017 in support of KFOR23. I returned in April of 2018, married my wife Ashley, and moved to Nashville.
I have spent my career with the MNPD as a patrolman at the Hermitage Precinct. I chose to join the police department so I could serve my community while continuing to develop myself as both a law enforcement and military officer.
