Emily Bright
Crime Lab Quality ManagerEmily Bright has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Berry College and a Master of Science in Forensic Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She began her career in Forensic Science in 2005 with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation as a Forensic Chemist in Drug Identification. Her career with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department Crime Laboratory began in 2013 as a Forensic Scientist in Drug Identification. Since her employment began with the Police Department, she has served as the Drug Identification Supervisor/Technical Leader and most recently as the Quality Assurance Manager for the Forensic Services Division. Emily is also a Technical Assessor in Seized Drugs.
