I come from a first responder family. This inspired me to seek a career that gave me the ability to serve people and this career became my passion. Originally from Michigan, I attended Northern Michigan University earning a bachelor’s degree. In addition to my college education, I attended and graduated from Macomb Police Academy in Michigan. During my career search, I wanted to seek out the department with the finest training, excellent career advancement opportunities, and generous benefits. That is when I discovered the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and the great “it” city of Nashville.
Since 2012, I have been a sworn member of the MNPD. My career started as a Patrol Officer then advanced to being a Detective in the Domestic Violence Division. Currently, I am assigned to the Recruitment Unit where it is our mission to recruit future officers who have passion and drive to serve others.
