North Precinct detectives are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the gunman who robbed the Family Dollar Store at 2600 Jefferson Street on October 16th and who may be responsible for three other robberies of Dollar General Stores since September 26.
In the October 16 robbery, the gunman wore a distinctive shirt that has the word “Savage” on the upper back with the number “13” below it. The black pants with the red stripe worn by the gunman on October 16 appear to be the same ones worn by the suspect in two of the three other robberies.
The dates and locations of the three other robberies are:
- September 26, Dollar General, 709 Old Hickory Boulevard (West Precinct);
- October 1, Dollar General, 541 Stewarts Ferry Pike (Hermitage Precinct);
- October 2, Dollar General, 6009 Charlotte Pike (West Precinct).
Anyone knowing of a person who wears the distinctive clothing depicted in the attached surveillance photos is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
