The facilities and locations listed below are experiencing closures and may have limited or no access. See each closure notification for details.
Winter Storm Fern
Several Metro Parks’ facilities have been severely affected by the winter storm and are either closed or have a change in operational hours.
Wasioto Park
Starting March 24 the Wasioto Park elevator will close for renovations for approximately 3 months.
McCabe Community Center
Playground will close from March 2 to May 4 for installation of a new playground.
Shelby and Easley Community Centers
The gyms at both locations are currently closed to the public.
The Parthenon
The Parthenon will be closed March 1 to June 28 to update the museum’s heating and air systems.
Antioch Community Center Field
The field at Antioch Community Center is unavailable for use as maintenance crews finish up work for the future soccer field.
Shelby Park Boardwalk
The boardwalk near the observation deck on the Shelby Bottoms Greenway is closed for repairs. The boardwalk is located about 0.50 miles near the wetland area of the park.
Shelby Park - Bendelow Lane Bridge
The bridge on Bendelow Lane will close March 30 for replacement.
Whites Creek Greenway Bridge
A bridge on the Whites Creek Greenway is closed for repairs
North Side of The Lake Watauga Loop in Centennial Park
The north side of the walking loop around Lake Watauga in Centennial Park will be closed for 6 weeks starting March 17.
Bells Bend Park
The mountain bike trails at Bells Bend Park will be closed for improvements from March 30 to April 1.
Cane Ridge Park Basketball Court
Cane Ridge Park basketball court will close for renovations from April 6 to July 1.
Harpeth River Greenway
Harpeth River Greenway is closed for repairs. See the section of the map below.
