Visual Arts Class Registration
Online winter/spring visual arts class registration begins Monday, January 12th, 2026, 10:00 a.m. on Eventbrite.com.
Students will pay the non-refundable class studio fee to hold their seat in the desired class(es). To complete the registration, students must pay the class fee with a SnapPay link sent by email from Eventbrite by Friday, January 16 at 4:00p.m. Payments may only be made with a credit card through the SnapPay link. No checks; no cash; Not in-person.
After January 16, any student that has not paid their class fee will forfeit their studio fee and their seat will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.

Learn About Metro Parks Visual Arts Classes
Metro Parks' Visual Arts offers popular, affordable painting and pottery classes in three Nashville locations.
- Centennial Art Center Studios are located in beautiful Centennial Park, Nashville, TN 37203
- Bellevue Art Studios are located at 7638A Hwy 70 South, Nashville, TN 37221
- Old Hickory Pottery Studio on Donelson Ave, Old Hickory, TN 37138 - Coming Soon
- West Park Pottery Studio at 6105 Morrow Rd., Nashville, TN 37209 - Closed Permanently
Classes are typically offered in three different sessions (Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer). Workshops that focus on specific skills or techniques are often offered in between sessions. The class schedule varies bases on space and teaching staff availability.
Pottery
Our classes are Nashville’s introduction to pottery where our focus is primarily to get you started before moving on to more advanced studio options. Learn the basic techniques of wheel throwing, hand-building, and glaze application. Use of tools such as molds and slab roller will be demonstrated.
Painting
In the painting studios we offer drawing, painting, and beginning-printmaking classes. Beginners will develop basic drawing, painting, and composition skills with varying degrees of guided instruction and demonstrations. Intermediate level students deepen their understanding through practice and teacher assistance during classes.
