Centennial Sportsplex Event Space Reservations
Centennial Sportsplex offers rental spaces for meetings, fitness activities, group events, and private poolparties. Rental availability varies by space and is subject to facility programming, staffing, and approval.
Rental Spaces
Aquatics Multi-Purpose Room
The Aquatics Multi-Purpose Room is available for meetings, trainings, workshops, gatherings, and other approved events.
Rental Fee
- Davidson County Residents: $50/hour
- Non-Davidson County Residents: $55/hour
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in the room.
Renters are responsible for setup, cleanup, removing all items brought into the facility, disposing of trash, and returning the room to its original condition.
Availability is subject to facility programming, scheduled events, and approval.
Aquatics Lobby Area
The Aquatics Lobby Area is a larger open space available for approved fitness activities, meetings, programs, and group use.
Capacity: 42 people
Rental Fee
$50/hour
Fitness equipment is not provided in this area. Groups may bring their own approved portable equipment if needed.
Food is permitted in the Aquatics Lobby Area. Renters are responsible for disposing of all trash and returning the area to its original condition.
Noise must be maintained at a comfortable level for all facility users.
Availability is subject to facility programming, scheduled events, and approval.
Dance Studio – Fitness Center
The Dance Studio is available for approved fitness classes, practices, meetings, and other group activities.
Capacity: 40 people

- Davidson County Residents: $50/hour
- Non-Davidson County Residents: $55/hour
Availability is subject to facility programming, scheduled classes, special events, and approval.
Aquatics Pool Parties
Centennial Sportsplex offers private pool parties on Saturdays between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Parties are scheduled in one of the following two-hour time blocks:
- 12–2 p.m.
- 1–3 p.m.
- 2–4 p.m.
Pool Party Fee
- Davidson County Residents: $275
- Non-Davidson County Residents: $303
The pool is reserved exclusively for the scheduled party during the approved two-hour rental period.
The pool ranges from approximately 3–5 feet deep.
Children must be actively monitored by a responsible adult at all times. Lifeguards are present for water safety but do not replace parental or guardian supervision.
Small pool toys and appropriate personal flotation devices, including arm floaties, may be permitted.
Water guns, large rafts, oversized pool floats, and other items that may obstruct a lifeguard's view are not permitted.
All guests must follow Centennial Sportsplex pool rules and instructions provided by lifeguards and facility staff.
General Rental Rules
- Alcohol, drugs, and weapons are prohibited.
- Centennial Sportsplex is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
- Tables and chairs are provided based on current Sportsplex inventory. Renters are responsible for providing any additional tables or chairs needed.
- Setup, breakdown, and cleanup must be completed within the approved rental period unless otherwise approved.
- All rental areas must be returned to their original condition after use.
- Renters must remove all trash, decorations, equipment, food, and personal belongings at the conclusion of the rental.
- Glitter and confetti are not permitted.
- Special equipment must receive prior approval.
- Some rentals or special equipment may require a minimum $1 million certificate of liability insurance.
- Renters are financially responsible for damage to the facility or equipment during their reservation.
- Children must be appropriately supervised at all times.
- Parks staff may stop unsafe, destructive, illegal, or prohibited activities and may terminate a reservation if facility policies are not followed.
Procedures for Reserving
- In accordance with Metro Park Board policy, Centennial Sportsplex facilities may be rented by individuals or organizations for approved private functions and recurring events.
- Reservations may be requested up to two months in advance.
- Payment is required in advance to confirm an approved reservation.
- Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, and credit card.
- A 2.3% convenience fee is added to credit card transactions.
- Payments may be made in person at Centennial Sportsplex using cash, check, or credit card.
- Credit card payments may also be accepted over the phone.
- Checks should be made payable to Metro Parks.
- Some reservations may require a minimum $1 million certificate of liability insurance.
- Additional documentation or approval may be required depending on the rental activity.
- Fundraising events requiring Park Board approval should be requested at least 60 days in advance.
Submitting a rental application does not guarantee a reservation. The requested date, time, space, and activity must be reviewed and approved before the reservation is confirmed.
Front desk staff are not authorized to approve rental requests or modify existing reservations.
