Each year University School of Nashville 5th graders learn about the African American history of Fort Negley and the Edgehill and North Nashville neighborhoods. Students, with help from faculty, create and perform numerous vignettes based on the stories of individuals or events related to these locations.
This event is free and open to the public.
This event will take place inside Fort Negley at the top of St. Cloud Hill. In the event of rain this event will move to the USN gym.
This event is happening along side two other offerings. Be sure to check out Scalarities: Race, Space, and Miniature Art, an art exhibit on display inside the Fort Negley Visitors Center lobby and Blockprinting Workshop with Ashley Seay which will take place on the Fort Negley Visitors Center porch.
