During this webinar, field ecologist Dr. Maria Luisa Jorge, will share data from a project that monitors mammals in Nashville’s natural area parks to determine where specific mammal species are living. Using camera traps, the project’s main goal is to relate the characteristics of the areas where cameras are located (proximity to water, amount of natural vegetation present in the surroundings, type of vegetation) with the diversity and types of mammals present in those areas.
