Due to impending thunderstorms and predicted flooding in the Nashville area this weekend, Red Caboose Concert Series is canceled this Friday, June 6. Join us next Friday, June 14, 7:00-9:00 p.m. to enjoy the music of Les Kerr and His Bayou Band at Red Caboose Park in Bellevue.
Big Band Dance information and alternative location
If Big Band Dance is canceled this Saturday, June 7, an update will be posted on the Metro Parks Music Division Facebook page by 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The rainout number (615-862-2787, press 3) will also be available for more information.
Metro Parks Music has created an alternative rainout plan. The Big Band Dance’s alternate rainout plan for this weekend is as follows: The band will move to Lobby Center Theater (2301 Rosa L. Parks Blvd.) to be recorded and livestreamed on the YouTube page, MetroParksNashvilleMusic. The livestream will begin at 7 p.m. Central Time. Seating will be available in the theater for the first 200 guests.
Unfortunately, this time there is no space for dancing, but we invite you to come enjoy the sound of the Rory Partin and His All Star Big Band. The Z. Alexander Looby Theater is wheelchair accessible.
