As a part of the 2024 Participatory Budget Program, the playground at Dudley Park was replaced with new equipment, including:
- A new playground to serve children aged 2-12.
- A new 4 bay swing set with 6 standard swings, 1 bucket swing, and 1 ADA accessible swing.
- A new 20’ x 30’ shade shelter located adjacent to the playground area.
- A combination of turf and rubber surfacing throughout the entire playground area.
- An improved walkway around the playground area.
Construction started in the summer of 2024 and wrapped up in early 2025.
