Shelby Golf Course

Shelby Golf Course Aerial ViewLocated in Historic East Nashville, Shelby Golf Course opened in 1924. It has the distinction of being the first municipal golf course in Nashville. The eighteen-hole course, located in beautiful Shelby Park, incorporates rolling hills and a picturesque landscape into your golfing experience. New Bermuda dwarf greens were planted in April 2006. All skill levels can enjoy a round at Shelby. The course has hosted the School Days Junior Golf Tournament, which is the longest running golf tournament in Tennessee. Golfers meet friendly faces and have a wonderful playing experience at Shelby Golf Course.

Inclement Weather Policy

At the discretion of Management, courses might close early during inclement weather. In addition, if the high temperature for the day is not expected to be above 32 degrees, the courses are not open. Also, the two courses with the newly installed ultra-dwarf Bermuda greens (Harpeth Hills and Two Rivers) will cover the greens during periods where the low temperatures are forecast to be below 25 degrees.
